The Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute (MWI), Bermuda’s premier provider of mental health and intellectual disability services, is inviting applications for a Clinical Director – Intellectual Disabilities. About the Role:

As Clinical Director, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across a range of services including:

• Community Intellectual Disabilities Team

• Group Homes

• New Dimensions Day Programme

You’ll ensure efficient use of resources, shape service development, and lead the Directorate to deliver person-centered, evidence-based care that meets international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define priorities and implement action plans aligned with MWI’s strategic goals

• Provide clinical and operational leadership across all service lines

• Oversee accreditation, regulatory compliance, and risk management

• Monitor and analyze operational metrics to drive performance and quality

• Collaborate across directorates to improve system-wide service delivery

• Lead business planning and service transformation initiatives

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution

• 7–10 years of progressive management experience in intellectual disabilities or related field

• Proven leadership and staff development skills

• Strong knowledge of clinical best practices and regulatory standards

• Eligible for registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council, Allied Health Council, or equivalent
