Director of Nursing

In partnership with our client, Excel Healthcare are currently recruiting a Director of Nursing to lead an established nursing home in Co Kildare

The Director of Nursing will be joining a purpose-built facility providing long term residential care to 70 residents with the role offering an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious team and deliver real change.

Responsibilities of this Director of Nursing include:

• Oversee the strategic management of the nursing home
• Carry out regular risk assessments to mitigate clinical risks and prevent accidents, in accordance with company guidelines
• Carry out appraisals in accordance with policy while liaising with the Training Coordinator to facilitate personal development plans
• Overseeing the provision of a high quality, person-centred service to patients and effective management of the staff team and resources

What you need to be considered for this Director of Nursing job:

• NMBI registration
• Natural Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills
• Experience in a similar senior management role is essential
