Job Title: Medical SHO/Registrar

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical SHO/Registrar to join the team
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated medical professional looking to advance their career in a dynamic teaching environment.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care while contributing to the education and training of junior medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and manage inpatient and outpatient care under the supervision of senior consultants.
-Participate actively in ward rounds, clinics, and multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure effective and coordinated patient management.
-Perform diagnostic investigations and interpret results, developing timely and appropriate treatment plans.
-Mentor and supervise junior medical staff, including interns and residents, while fostering a supportive learning environment.
-Engage in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
-Contribute to the education of medical students and junior doctors through lectures, tutorials, and hands-on training.
-Participate in on-call duties as required as part of the registrar rota.
Qualifications:
-Medical degree (MB BCh BAO or equivalent) and registration with the Medical Council of Ireland.
-Previous experience in internal medicine or a relevant specialty is preferred.
-Irish/UK experience Desirable
-Strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team.
