Pharmacy Retail Manager - Waterford City
Full time permanent retail manager role, working 40 hours per week for an independently owned pharmacy in Waterford City.
Pharmacy opens 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday 9-6
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail pharmacy professional to advance their career-ideal for a current manager seeking a fresh challenge or an assistant manager ready to step up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front of Shop Management: Oversee ordering, merchandising, stock control, and supplier relations
• Sales & Business Development: Drive sales, achieve targets, and identify new business opportunities
• Customer Service: Provide expert advice and assistance on OTC products, vitamins and more
• Team Leadership:
  • Manage staff schedules, appraisals, and performance issues
  • Motivate and lead a team to deliver excellent service and productivity
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities
  • Identify training needs and support team development
• Operational Efficiency: Support the daily running of the pharmacy and manage ad hoc projects as needed

• Previous experience in an Irish retail pharmacy
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy products and front-of-shop operations
• Proven team management experience in a retail environment
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to influence, lead, and mentor a team effectively
• Problem-solving, time management, and communication abilities
