Person in Charge General Manager Nursing Home Dublin North Tops Benefits

A well established Nursing Home in Dublin North is seeking a Person in Charge General Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality resident care.
A perfect opportunity for a Nursing Director to step into a General Manager role.


The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of nursing practices and HIQA regulations.


Responsibilities:

1. Establish and execute nursing policies, procedures, and best practices to uphold the delivery of high-quality patient care.
2. Offer guidance and support to the nursing team, aiding them in achieving performance goals.
3. Monitor resident care outcomes and quality metrics, identifying areas for enhancement in the process.
4. Effectively manage staffing levels to secure ample coverage while minimizing operational costs.
5. Supervise training initiatives for new nurses and facilitate continuous professional development for existing staff.
6. Work collaboratively to develop and implement a strategic business plan and budget for the facility. This involves maximizing occupancy and ensuring prudent cost controls across all departments while upholding quality standards.
7. Collaborate directly with the Finance Controller (FC) and the finance department to ensure the punctual submission of financial information.
8. Foster collaboration with other departments to facilitate effective interdisciplinary care.
9. Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements pertinent to the nursing home setting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
Qualification in Management
Active NMBI Registration
Minimum 3 years of experience within last 5 years, in a leadership role in a Nursing home setting
Strong understanding of nursing practices, HIQA regulations, and industry trends
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience managing budgets and resources
Excellent Leadership qualities
