Job Description

Social Workers – Child and Family Service, Dublin North city and county – permanent positions

Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with Tusla, Child and Family Agency are recruiting for Professionally Qualified Social Workers in the Dublin North City and County area with vacancies in the following locations:

Dublin North city centre

Grangegorman,

Ballymun,

Finglas 

Swords

Blanchardstown

Santry

Permanent positions will be offered to successful applicants across a range of services including:

•Child Protection and Welfare

•Duty/Intake (initial assessment)

•Children in Care

•Fostering

·     Competitive salary between €49,624 - €71,640 depending on experience

·      Permanent employment contract including sponsorship of a critical skills employment permit if required

·      Facilitation of a period of adaptation or return to practice if required by CORU*

·      Excellent supervision and a focus on developing Social Worker strengths as well as continuous

Entry Requirements:

·      A recognised qualification as a Professionally Qualified Social Worker

·      Eligible to apply for registration as a Professionally Qualified Social Worker with CORU, the Health & Social Care Professionals regulatory authority

·      Experience and an interest in working in children and families’ services / child protection

·      A full clean driver's licence is desirable

·      Professional approach to work

·      Flexibility in work practice

·      Excellent verbal and written English

Tusla, the Child and Family Agency was established in 2014 and is responsible for a range of statutory functions including provision of child protection, alternative care, specified regulatory services and a range of family support services to enable its staff to make an important contribution to improve the wellbeing and outcomes for children living in Ireland.

Tusla has commenced a major improvement programme with significant focus on Practice, Culture and Structure.
