Clinic Nurse - Ophthalmology

Responsibilities for this Clinic Nurse job:

• Carry out ophthalmic diagnostic tests to support patient assessments and consultations.
• Conduct virtual pre-operative assessments, including medical history, vision needs, and surgical motivations.
• Scrub in and assist with procedures in the on-site surgical theatre.
• Respond to patient queries by phone and email in a timely, professional manner.
• Collaborate closely with the wider multidisciplinary team including admin, nursing, and ophthalmology staff.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and provide end-to-end support for patients on the day of surgery.

Requirements for this Clinic Nurse job:

• Active NMBI registration.
• Genuine interest in ophthalmic care and surgical procedures.
• Empathetic approach to patient care and strong customer service orientation.
• A compassionate approach to patient care.Theatre experience is advantageous but not essential.
