Excel Healthcare is now hiring a Healthcare Assistant to work in acute setting in Kilkenny on a agency basis.

We have day and night shifts available.

Requirements for this Healthcare Assistant job:

• QQI Level 5 Certificate in Healthcare or Equivalent.
• Valid certificates for Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Patient Manual Handling, CPR.
• Eligible to work in Ireland, EU passport or valid IRP card.
• Experience of at least six months within healthcare is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards.

Responsibilities of this Healthcare Assistant job:

• Assisting patients with high standards of care.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Assist and support other staff.
