Healthcare Assistant - Acute Hospital

Excel Healthcare is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to work in Dublin 4 on an agency basis in hospital setting.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday shifts available

Working hours are 12h

Start rate: from €17.41ph

Responsibilities of this Healthcare Assistant job:

• To provide high standard services as specified in agreed care plans and to contribute to the continual review of patient's needs.
• Assisting the nurse in the provision of quality nursing service.
• Contribute to the movement and treatment of patients to maximise their physical comfort and quality of life.
• Assist the residents with ADLs, mobility and at mealtime where necessary.
• Adhere to Infection Prevention and Control measures.

Requirements of this Healthcare Assistant job:

• Full QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent is essential.
• At least 1 year experience working in a hostpital setting.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Hold appropiate work permit - EU Passport or IRP 1G, 4 or 2.
