Locum Emergency Medicine SHO

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department

• Perform initial assessments, order investigations, and initiate appropriate treatment

• Collaborate with consultants, registrars, and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care

• Participate in a full rota including nights, weekends, and on-calls

• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation in accordance with HSE protocols

• Active registration with the Irish Medical Council (General Division or higher)

• Recent experience in Emergency Medicine or acute hospital settings

• Valid life support certifications (e.g., ACLS, BLS desirable)

• Valid work permit in Ireland
