A new residential care centre for children is setting up in Kilkenny and Tipperary specialising in Residential and Supported Living Services for Children with a range of complex support needs is hiring a Social Care Deputy Manager
Working hours over a 7-day roster involving shift work
We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to lead a Team for the above position. The successful candidate will be afforded all necessary training and development in line with the role. Candidates must be highly motivated and creative, with a passion for engaging with Service Users on a daily basis.
Candidates will contribute to enriching the lives of all Service Users.

Candidates must hold a Full Driver's Licence, or be in the process of achieving a Full Driver's Licence.
Role:
The Role of a Social Care Deputy Manager is to manage and deputise for the Residential Centre Manager providing care to people who avail of services.
Support given in developing and upskilling you in providing high quality care, maintaining professional working relationships with our team members and people who avail of services.
Support given to people in reaching their full potential, to have a meaningful life through the supports of the services provided to them.
This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:
Leading a Team and deputising for the Manager in providing support as follows:
Supporting people with their daily plan
Supporting people whilst in the community
Supporting people with their education, skills development and achieving personal outcomes
Supporting people with their living skills such as - Cooking, Cleaning, Laundry, attending appointments, family visits etc.
Be familiar with and adhering to all Company policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice in so far as is reasonable and practicable.
Shift work over 24 hours a day and 7 days a week
Current roles open include:
Social Care Team Leader
Deputy Manager Social Care
Assistant Support Worker - No qualification required (All necessary training provided)
Social Care Workers - Level 7/ 8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or related discipline
Relevant life experience would be desirable but not essential.
Good attitude to work and passionate about supporting people.
Full Driver's Licence required or in the process of achieving a Full Driver's Licence.
