Excel Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Social Care Worker for ongoing contract work in a community day centre in Bray, Co Wicklow. As a Social Care Worker you will be part of a team that provides support and opportunities to people living with a mental health condition.

We are seeking a versatile and adaptable individual for this role, ideal for someone who thrives on multitasking and supporting others. As part of a member-led community centre, you will be responsible for tasks such as meal preparation, assisting members with CV building, and providing motivation and support. Additionally, you will help service users develop personalised care plans tailored to their unique needs, with a strong emphasis on fostering community engagement and involvement.

This is a full-time role Monday-Friday

Responsibilities of this Social Care Worker job:

• Promote physical, emotional, social, cultural, ethnic and spiritual welfare of each service user

Requirements / Qualifications for this Social Care Worker job:

• Eligible to work in Ireland, EU passport or valid IRP card
• QQI Level 5 in Social Care, BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification
• CORU Registered (or eligible to register)
• Knowledge of HIQA standards
