Locum Orthopaedics Registrar

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Orthopaedic Registrar to join the Orthopaedic Department at Letterkenny University Hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality orthopaedic care to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency referrals. Responsibilities include pre and post-operative care, assisting in theatres, managing trauma and elective cases, and participating in on-call rota duties.

Requirements:

• Medical registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)

• Previous orthopaedic registrar experience (preferably in Ireland or the UK)

• Strong clinical and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Eligibility to work in Ireland

Desirable:

• BLS/ACLS/ATLS certification

• Experience with orthopaedic trauma and elective procedures
