Job Title: Radiology Services Manager 1 (RSM1)

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week (Full-Time) & 17.5 hours per week (Part-Time)

This facility will provide comprehensive services ranging from expert consultations and diagnostics to specialised treatments - all under one roof.

They are a dynamic and supportive team of professionals who strive for excellence in patient care and clinical standards and are currently recruiting for a Radiology Service Manager to come and lead from the front.

Qualifications & Experience:

* in Radiography

* in Ultrasound or 7+ years' experience as a Sonographer

* CORU registration

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, motivate, and support team members to ensure clinical excellence and compassionate care.

* Manage administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth departmental functioning.

* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as required.

* Develop and maintain operational protocols in conjunction with the Clinical Specialist Radiographer.

* Manage attendance and maintain departmental rosters, including approval of annual leave.

* Conduct and lead clinical audits to support continuous improvement.

* Collaborate on new initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.

* Ensure consistent delivery of high standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.

* Act as departmental lead in the absence of the Radiology Service Manager.

* Stay informed on developments in radiology and share knowledge within the team.

* Communicate professionally and effectively with patients and colleagues.

* Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all hospital policies, including health & safety, HR, and infection control guidelines.
