Role: Sonographer - Ultrasound

Job Type: Part Time Permanent - 25 hours (+1 day optional)

TTM Healthcare is recruiting a Sonographer for a role in Sligo .

Days: Tues, Wed & Fridays. Estimated 25 hour contract. Optional 1-day in Roscommon.

Responsibilities:

* To perform all the basic exams eg abdomen /pelvis /renal /neck /testes /soft tissue.

* Responsible for the independent operation of ultrasound equipment and performing diagnostic examinations using ultrasound

* Daily operations of the ultrasound list, patient schedule, and quality assessment (QA).

* Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations.

* Use independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings.

* Analyse ultrasound images, correlate sonographic information and medical history and communicate finding to reporting radiologists via RIS using sonographers' findings forms.

Requirements:

* BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent

* CORU registration.

* 2+ year post-graduate experience in ultrasound.

* MSc in Diagnostic Ultrasound is desirable but not essential.

* Experience in an Irish setting is essential

* Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
