Responsibilities of this Agency Psychiatric Nurse job:

• Adhere to all HSE guidelines and procedures.
• Develop therapeutic bonds with patients and their families, providing emotional support and assistance, developing long lasting solutions and care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed to patients.
• Evaluate and maintain records of treatment outcomes and progress, reporting any incidents or difficulties to appropriate authorities and team members.

Requirements of this Agency Psychiatric Nurse job:

• Must be registered with the NMBI.
• Hold up-to-date Mental Health Act, MAPA & TMVA certificates.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing.
• Hold a degree in psychiatric nursing or general nursing with a postgraduate qualification in psychiatric nursing.
