Job Description
Are you an experienced and committed trauma surgeon seeking to advance your career in one of Dublin's leading hospitals?
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Consultant Trauma Surgeon to join a dynamic and well-established team dedicated to providing exceptional care. About the Role
As a Consultant Trauma Surgeon, you will be a cornerstone of the hospital's trauma and surgical care services. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team, deliver top-tier patient care, and contribute to the hospital's reputation for excellence in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform a comprehensive range of trauma surgeries, from emergency interventions to elective procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthetists, radiologists, and critical care specialists, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, fostering professional growth and enhancing team performance.
- Lead and participate in clinical audits to maintain high standards of care and identify areas for improvement.
- Engage in ongoing research and contribute to academic activities, including teaching and training medical students and junior doctors.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
- A Fellowship or equivalent qualification in Trauma Surgery or Critical Care.
- A strong track record of managing complex trauma cases with precision and care.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively guide teams and interact with patients.
- A commitment to continued professional development and contributions to medical research.
