Responsibilities of this Acute Oncology Nurse job include:

• Deliver excellent nursing care to oncology patients.
• Administer chemotherapy, manage side effects, and provide emotional support.
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and health management.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
• Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, family members and patients.

Requirements of this Acute Oncology Nurse job:

• Be a Registered Nurse, with an active NMBI pin.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in oncology nursing in Ireland.
• SACT Passport or training sign off from Oncology department they have worked in within the last 6 months
• Have relevant right to work in Ireland (EU/EEA passport or VISA stamp 1G, 2, or 4).
• Have a high level of interpersonal skills.
• Have relevant Healthcare Certificates up to date.
