HealthCare Assistant Opportunities in Limerick area! 

In partnership with our clientCPL HealthCare is now looking to recruit HealthCare Assistants (night duty) in Limerick area.

Our client is providing homecare services to help people live independently in their homes. They also operate Irelands first purpose-built community for people living with  dementia with their social day club been an integral part of community allowing their residents meet other members of the wider community who are also living with dementia.

Requirements: 

·      QQI Level 5: Care Skills & Care of the Elderly

·      Experience in Dementia Care is desirable

·      Driving license

·      Good level of English

·      Clear Garda vetting

 

The Healthcare Assistant will be responsible for providing care to residents who are living with dementia in the community.

·      Assist in All aspects of personal care

·      Meal preparation and planning

·      Mobility assistance

·      Provide Assistance with Continence management and provision of

catheter care

·      Assist with Light housekeeping duties and errand services

·      Provide Companionship and recreational activities
