Assistant Director of Nursing

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Assistant Director of Nursing to join a nursing home in Co. Wicklow.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure efficient operation of the nursing home and maintain a positive environment for residents.

* Provide nursing care, monitor resident health, and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed.

* Administer prescribed medications and keep accurate records according to NMBI and company guidelines.

* Assist the Director of Nursing in auditing care documentation to ensure best practices.

* Support a respectful and dignified relationship with residents, promoting their independence.

Key Requirements:

* Current NMBI registration.

* Previous management or supervisory experience, with a minimum of two years preferred.

* Effective communication skills and a strong team-oriented approach.

* Experience or certification in Care of the Elderly.
