Staff Nurse - Cath Lab

Akeso Healthsearch is a leading nursing and healthcare recruitment agency. We work in partnership with both public and private hospitals, as well as in semi-acute facilities, paediatric homecare, residential services, and practice nursing.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Cath Lab Nurse to join a established hospital in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

* Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate quality nursing care, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and the Code of Professional Conduct.

* Provide emergency care and routine nursing duties independently, supporting colleagues in the delivery of high-quality care.

* Maintain accurate, high-standard documentation and ensure compliance with health and safety policies, reporting any risks.

* Administer medication and manage departmental responsibilities while fostering good relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.

Requirements

* Registered on the general division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.

* Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Cath Lab (Irish or UK Hospital).

* Proven clinical and professional competence.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Competency in the English language.

* Good character.

Desirable Requirements

* Cardiology qualification is an advantage but not essential.

* Ability to manage clinical and non-clinical situations.

* Teamwork skills in delivering nursing care.

* Capacity for responsibility and individual initiative.

* Interest in quality initiatives within the Nursing Service.

* Knowledge of risk management, including investigation and reporting.
