Pharmacy Technician - Dun Laoghaire (Non Patient Facing)

Our client progressive, independent, vibrant pharmacy group located throughout Ireland are currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician in their facility in Dun Laoghaire.

This facility consists of a retail pharmacy and an operation in the back of the pharmacy that facilitates medication management between Nursing Homes and Care Centres across the country.

Location: Dun Laoghaire, South Dublin

Hours: 32 - 40 hours per week (Flexible on hours)

1 Saturday in 4

Contract: Permanent

Salary Range - 35,000 to 41,600 per annum

Pharmacy Technician duties:

• Ensure customers receive exceptional customer service
• Assist the Pharmacist to accurately and efficiently prepare prescriptions and verify customer information requirements.
• Operate within the most recent PSI regulations and guidelines on good practices for relevant services.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing orders, verifying receipt of orders, removing outdated stocks and ensuring team members are aware of shortages.

Pharmacy Technician must:

• Be a great team player
• Previous experience working as a pharmacy technician in a community based environment
• Excellent communication skills with a strong work ethic.
