Psychiatric Nurse - Wicklow

Excel Healthcare, an approved provider for HSE nurses, is now looking for a Psychiatric Nurse to work in an acute HSE mental health facility. This job would suit a Psychiatric Nurse interested in expanding their experience within various mental health facilities and having flexible working hours.

Responsibilities of this Psychiatric Nurse job:

• Assessing and planning care requirements.
• Reviewing care plans and evaluating patient progress.
• Coordinate investigations, therapies, and patient follow-up.
• Consult with other psychiatrists and healthcare providers.
• Administering medication.
• Participate in regular performance and clinical evaluations with the manager.

Requirements for this Psychiatric Nurse job:

• Permission to work in Ireland
• Be registered in the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Have fluent spoken and written English
• Good communication and time
• Have a clear commitment to person-centered care and strong interpersonal skills.
• Have completed Mental Health Act Training.
