Job Description

On behalf of our client in Dublin, we are seeking skilled and dedicated Dentists to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence, and delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Our client has a strong commitment to providing exceptional dental care, focusing on building a reputable image and prioritising patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Examination and Diagnosis:
    • Conduct thorough dental examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
    • Diagnose and identify dental conditions and diseases using clinical and diagnostic tools.
    • Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Dental Treatment:
    • Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to, fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures and cleanings.
    • Administer anesthesia to alleviate pain during dental procedures.
    • Repair or replace damaged teeth through restorative techniques.
  • Preventive Care and Education:
    • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
    • Recommend and provide fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive measures.
    • Emphasize the importance of regular dental check-ups to maintain optimal oral health.
  • X-rays and Diagnostic Tests:
    • Order and interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis of dental conditions.
    • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues such as cavities, gum disease, or oral abnormalities.
  • Patient Management and Counselling:
    • Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns and answer questions.
    • Provide counselling on oral health issues and discuss treatment options with patients.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaboration with Dental Specialists:
    • Collaborate with dental specialists, such as orthodontists, periodontists, and oral surgeons, as needed for comprehensive patient care.
  • Compliance and Ethical Standards:
    • Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set by dental associations and licensing boards.
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Continuing Education:
    • Stay informed about advancements in dentistry through ongoing education and training.
    • Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences CPD in-house training to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
    • Irish Dental Council registered.
    • Strong diagnostic and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
    • Excellent communication skills and empathy for patients.
    • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
