Cpl have an exciting new opportunity for a Support Worker looking to elevate their career and achieve a sense of true fulfillment!

We're recruiting social care workers for a client that provides emergency accommodation to young people, aged 16 & 17, who cannot be cared for in their own home or who need alternative care arrangements.

We're seeking individuals who strive to be an advocate for young people to ensure their needs are met.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Person-centred planning
• Risk assessment
• Work as one of 2 key workers for the young person as required
• Offer information, support and guidance to family members
• Be responsible for the organisation of personal documents, information and finance on behalf of the young person
• Promote physical, emotional, social, cultural, ethnic and spiritual welfare of each child / young person

Requirements

• BA in Social Care, Social Studies or any revelant social care qualification
• Two years experience
• Knowledge of HIQA
• Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
