Person In Charge

Our Clients are a leading care facility and are seeking a Person In Charge to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care, as well as managing and leading a team of nurses.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with experience in a senior management position. You must possess excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of nursing care, and a passion for providing high-quality care to the residents.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

Leading and managing the nursing team, including hiring and supervising nursing staff.
Developing and implementing nursing care plans that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of the residents.
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of nursing care.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to the residents.
Developing and managing budgets.

Requirements:

Registered with the NMBI
Have a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
3 years experience in a senior management position
Demonstrated experience in developing a caring culture
An enthusiastic approach to managing the care facility is critical
Strong leadership and communication skills
Passion for caring for the residents and staff alike
