Community services in Dublin North are hiring a Clinical Specialist Dietician

Required:

Be highly competent in assessing and treating a wide range of clinical presentations relevant to children with disabilities and complex health needs.
Be responsible for nutritional assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment/intervention programmes for clients according to professional standards.
Be able to make highly specialist clinical decisions following assessment of complex cases.
Demonstrate competency and confidence in supporting clients with complex feeding issues; oral-motor dysfunction and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorders
Be highly competent at supporting clients to self-manage complex enteral feeding regimens.
Demonstrate proficiency in feeding tube management and in stoma care
Participate in multi-disciplinary complex needs clinics.
Participate in Paediatrician Clinics
Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conference and work within a multidisciplinary team approach, to promote integrated care for all clients, as required.


Required:
Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU.
AND
Have 5 years full time (or equivalent) years post qualification dietetic experience of which 4 years full time (or equivalent) must be consecutive in the required area of specialism.
