Clinic Manager - Dialysis

Our client is a leading Medical Device company based in Wexford who are looking for a Clinic Dialysis Manager to join them on a full time permanent basis. The successful candidate will manage and lead the nursing and support team in the care of patients with renal failure. The successful candidate will be offered an excellent renumeration and benefits package along with flexibility. This roles is hybrid offering remote home working 1 day a week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Clinic Manager has responsibility in the service planning, development, coordinating, managing activity and resources in the clinic to ensure delivery of our agreed levels of service.
• The Clinic Manager role is responsible for the local operational, quality and vigilance management of the Dialysis Unit in Wexford with support from the Renal Business Lead.
• Efficient implementation and assessment of standards of patient care and needs, managing effective use of unit resources, whilst equating the balance between quality and cost efficiency.
• Act in full accordance with the Hospital Information Quality Authority (HIQA)
• Finance & Business Management of the Clinic
• Education and Training planning for the team
• Quality & Care Management

Skills & Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current INMB PIN to practice.
• 3-5 Years Dialysis Experience
• Management Experience is desirable but not necessary
• Completion of training for additional clinical skills required in the unit i.e. IV drug administration/cannulation & venipuncture.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal skills Must be fluent in English.
• Ability to build good relationships with patients, relatives, visitors and colleagues by developing rapport, communicating clearly and accurately.
