Occupational Health Physician

Outstanding opportunity for an Occupational Health Physician. This doctor must hold specialised training in the field recognised by the Irish Medical Council.

Responsibilities will include:

Conduct pre-employment medical assessments and health screenings

Evaluate and manage workplace injuries and illnesses

Provide expert medical advice on occupational health matters

Perform health surveillance and periodic medical examinations

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop health and safety policies

Guide rehabilitation and return-to-work plans

Participate in health promotion initiatives and educational programs

Requirements:

Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) in the field of Occupational Health

Previous experience working as an Occupational Health Physician

Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good organisational and time management abilities

A driving licence and a access to a car (75% clinic based and 25% field based)
