Applications are invited for the above position of Assistant Director of Nursing. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and enjoy the challenges of working in a dynamic team environment and possess the following skills at a minimum:

• Registered with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)(ABA)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Acute care management experience

• Minimum 5 years post registration experience including previous experience in working in an acute training hospital essential

• BSc Degree essential or higher qualification desirable and willingness to undertake same

• Management qualification essential

• Proven ability in the areas of change management, resource management, conflict resolution, quality & safety management, problem solving and operational planning.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills essential
