Radiographer – Acute Hospital Galway

Cpl Healthcare in partnership with Galway University Hospital are recruiting for a Basic Grade Radiographer for a permanent position to start as soon as possible.

  This is an excellent opportunity to work across the general X-Ray department and will include a well-structured induction period as well as a dedicated preceptorship to ensure you receive excellent training and development.

These positions also offer further training and development and advancement to work in specialist modalities as well as an excellent on-boarding package including flights, accommodation and relocation expenses.

We are looking to speak with qualified diagnostic radiographers with experience in general X-ray, theatre, emergency department (trauma) an inpatients, we will also be happy to speak with new graduates.

The general imaging department provides a 24/7 service with an out-of-hours shift system.

Interested candidates must have:

• A recognised qualification in diagnostic radiography
• Current or recent experience in a diagnostic radiographer department of an acute hospital with experience in theatre, emergency department (trauma) and inpatients is desirable, we will also consider applicants with relevant placement experience
• Registration with or eligible for registration with CORU – the Health and Social Care Professionals Council
• Excellent level of English is required
• Interviews take place online remotely or on site at the hospital
