We are seeking caring and compassionate social care workers to support young people up to the age of 18 in a residential setting, based in Counties Monaghan. This is an exciting opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced professionals to make a genuine difference to vulnerable young people.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop professional relationships with children and their families/carers

Supervise and accompany children on outings and contribute to the development of the young child, through the promotion and provision of a healthy lifestyle

Assist the young persons development in both personal and social skills.

Implement personal educational plans and ensure that activities are organised as required

Develop care plans to meet the needs of the young person

To attend regular supervision with the Social Care Leader / Manager

Adhering to policies and procedures

Report Writing and documentation

Role Requirements:

• Minimum level 7 in one of the following:

1.Social Care

2.Social work

3.Psychology

4.Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy

5.Youth & Community

6.Teaching

7.Nursing

8.Social Science

Experience working with younger people in care is desirable

Flexible willing and able to adapt to changing circumstances, shift patterns and expectations

Full clean driving license
