Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technician - Cork

Cpl Healthcare in partnership with the HSE are currently recruiting for a locum pharmacist to cover 3 - 5 days a week as needs arise to meet department needs. There are vacancies in both Glanmire and St. Stephens's Hospital, Cork.

The Pharmacy Department provides accurate and independent information and education about medicines to other healthcare professionals, service users and carers. Clinical and dispensing activities are provided to facilitate the management of medicines by our service users. We also provide support to ensure that medicines management resources are used cost effectively within North Cork Mental Health Services.

Job requirements:

• You must be currently registered with the PSI
• Experience working in this setting is ideal but not essential
• Permission to work in Ireland
• Professional approach to work

The ideal candidate must be able to dispense accurately stock for units & prescriptions for patients, have excellent communication skills with members of the multidisciplinary team, ability to prioritise tasks in a busy working environment, respond to medical information queries from medical and nursing staff working in our service.
