Support Pharmacist - West Cork
Full time permanent role, 4 or 5 days a week.
The Pharmacist will be joining an independently owned pharmacy in Drimoleague, West Cork. Working in a busy pharmacy with good supporting team, including a supervising pharmacist and 2 technicians. As support pharmacist, is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective day to day running of the pharmacy, in accordance with all obligations, ensuring prescriptions are safe and appropriate and dispensing within all operating procedures.
Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers and local doctors.
• Managing the dispensing process, dispensing prescriptions in an efficient and accurate manner
• Managing pharmacy stock levels effectively and communicating with suppliers
• Ensuring all paper work is accurate and all SOP's are adhered to
• Providing the highest standard of care, giving expert advice to patients regarding the safe and appropriate use of all medicines

What are we looking for?

• Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland
• Previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting
• Can work as part of a team and has good communication skills
• Allow time for CPD
• Will pay PSI fees
