Cpl Healthcare are currently accepting applications on behalf of our client for a Senior Speech & Language Therapists to work as part of a busy interdisciplinary team in the Dublin area. This position will be offered on full time permanent contract.

Role & Responsibilities

The Speech and language therapist will provide treatment, support and care for children who have difficulties with communication, eating, drinking and/or swallowing. (FEDS)

• Arrange and carry out assessment and treatment / intervention programmes in appropriate settings in line with local guidelines.
• Collaborate with children/young people, family, carers and other staff in goal setting and treatment / intervention planning.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures, policies and guidelines while adhering to existing standards and protocols.
• Supervision of Basic Grade SLTs and student SLTs as appropriate.
• Provide support and information in relation to communication and / or feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing disorders etc. to service users and relevant others.

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a qualification in Speech and Language Therapy approved by the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board at CORU.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience.
• Experience of working with FEDS and children with complex needs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and command of English.
• Be CORU registered or be eligible for registration.
• Be fully aware of and compliant with current child protection and safeguarding legislation and local policies and procedures.
