Job Description
CPL Healthcare in conjunction with The Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in the Dublin North, Dublin North Central and Dublin Northwest (CHODNCC) areas, are seeking a Senior Grade Psychologist to work with children and young people (0-18) with a range of complex needs. The role will involve interdisciplinary team working and family centred practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the delivery of professional psychology services appropriate to the post in line with best practice.
- To carry an appropriate clinical caseload assigned by CDNM, based on the clinical need of the CDNT, in line with professional practice and in collaboration with clinical supervisory support from the Principal Psychologist
- Formulate and implement plans for psychological therapeutic intervention or management based on an appropriate conceptual framework, working in home and clinical settings as appropriate.
- Optimises resources within own areas to achieve appropriate outcomes.
Essential Criteria
- Hold a minimum QQI Level 8 qualification in Psychology
- Have an Irish post-graduate qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in clinical, counselling or educational psychology or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical psychology inclusive of time spent in pursuing a course leading to the postgraduate qualification and a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
- Experience of working with children with complex needs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and strong command of English.
- Demonstrate competence and capability of undertaking the duties attached to the office
- Relevant ICT skills
Salary/Benefits
- Range: €84,271 to €99,054 (experience dependent)
- Pension
- Annual Leave – 30 days pa
- 35 hours per week
- Relocation package - if applicable
