Job Description
Our client is looking for Band 5 Occupational Therapists to join their busy team in the Doncaster District reporting to the Senior Occupational Therapist, Modern Matron and Service Manager.
Role & Responsibilities
- To work as a member of a multi–disciplinary mental health team providing OT assessment and interventions to patients with mental health needs.
- To provide advice on falls and physical health needs.
- To lead multi-disciplinary meetings and working parties to develop community based adult mental health services.
Essential Criteria
- Occupational Therapy Degree
- HCPC Registration
- Experience working with mental health problems and /or older adults
- Understanding of occupational therapy role within a Mental Health Team
