Cpl Healthcare are delighted to have partnered with a leading homeless service in recruiting for a mental health nurse in their Dublin service.

This is a full-time role reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager. The service provides housing with wrap around supports to those who are long-term homeless and who have a history of extensive rough sleeping and / or custodial sentences. These service users have complex and high support needs such as physical health, mental health and addiction needs. The organisation provides independent housing across several local authority areas with multi-disciplinary specialisms to provide supports to tenants in their own homes.

The successful candidate will have responsibility including medication management, provision of direct support to participants, casework management, maintaining a safe and healthy living environment and responding as per service needs. Detailed Job Description available on application. 

Working Hours are Monday-Friday 9-5

 To be considered for the role applicants must meet the following requirements: 

• Full registration the mental health register of the NMBI.
• Essential competencies: communication skills, commitment to providing the highest level of service, professionalism and maintaining professional boundaries, respect for others, promoting choice independence, health and well-being and resilience & positive outlook 
• Calm and client centered approach to their work.
• A keen interest in addiction and an overall awareness/understanding of the social implications of drug and/or alcohol misuse.
• A keen interest in Mental Health for both adolescents and adults.
