Part time pharmacist role for Nursing home division required immediately

Principal role will involve :

1. Drug and Therapeutics meetings :Meetings with directors of nursing and medical teams in

our care home clients . This will be a combination of remote meetings and occasional face to

face visits . Emphasis will be on remote visits to minimis travel time

2. Audits of each care home . The majority of audits will be carried out by fully trained Cara

pharmacy technicians and these will be overseen and reviewed by our Cara care home

pharmacist . Existing Cara audit templates can be used for this .

3. Training role : This will primarily involve development and implementation of Carehome

focused training for nurses and some for health care assistants . There will also be a role to

assist with training and re-training of Cara pharmacy technicians.

4. Customer relationship management ( CRM) : This will involve ensuring that we have great

ongoing CRM with all our Carehome clients to ensure customer retention and to quickly

identify any service issues that we need to address .

Working arrangements

• Part time role with a good deal of flexibility around the hours worked

• Ideally 24-32 hours per week but may develop into a full time role

• Job share with our current Care home pharmacist will also be possible

• Great flexibility around working remotely

• There will also be office space at our Cara Pottery Road pharmacy where you will have the

opportunity to work with a great highly skilled team.

The ideal candidate will :

1. Have previous Carehome pharmacy experience or

2. Previous hospital pharmacy experience

3. A passion for delivering the best possible customer service working

team at our Dublin

4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

A generous remuneration package including travel expense allowance will be available
