Physiotherapists HSE CHO 7 (Dublin South City West Dublin)
Physiotherapists Adult Services HSE CHO 7
Physiotherapists, basic grade required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE. Vacancies exist based in a number of locations across the CHO 7, including:
Staff grade - Irishtown Primary Care, D2
Staff grade - Thomas Court Primary Care Centre, D8
Staff grade - Primary Care Centres, Dublin 12
Staff grade - Tallaght Cross, Dublin 24
Staff grade - Tymon Health Centre, Dublin 24
Staff grade - Rossecourt Resource Centre, Lucan, Dublin
Staff grade - Ballyfermot and Palmerstown, Dublin
Job Responsibilities:
Manage a Primary Care Physiotherapy caseload involving a mix of out-patient clinic appointments, domiciliary visits, and group work. Caseload will include:
MSK (acute and chronic conditions, post op, OA/RA)
Gerontology (Falls, mobility assessment, frailty, sarcopenia, dementia, palliative care, assisting with hospital discharges)
Neurology conditions (Parkinsons Disease, MS, Stroke, MND)
Amputees
Scope to work in our paediatric primary care service with up skilling provided, as needed, for the right candidate
The Candidate:
A recognised qualification as a Physiotherapist with CORU registration
All experience levels considered
Permission to work in Ireland
Professional approach to work
A full drivers licence and access to own vehicle is essential
Multidisciplinary team working is encouraged with MDT members co-located where possible and care is coordinated with all HSCP disciplines, nursing, GPs and the acute sector, in addition to community Chronic Disease teams, the Integrated Care Team for Older Persons (ICPOP) and Paediatric teams.
Quality improvement and career long learning are prioritised within the department. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced clinicians and have access to regular scheduled supervision and departmental journal clubs and in-services.
This is an excellent opportunity and will involve a contract of a minimum 6 months, full time Monday Friday, with possibility to extension.
