Director of Nursing - Nursing Home Role available in Dublin

Our clients fabulous, newly acquired nursing home located in North Dublin is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON). As person in charge you will be encouraged to introduce new ideas, manage staff and enjoy providing a top class service in this well established nursing home. This is an opportunity for a Nurse Manager who has already worked as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing or as a Clinical Nurse Manager to take that next step in their career.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Registration on the Live Register in the General Division of the Register of Nurses as maintained by the NMBI

Care of the Elderly and Management Qualification

Masters level Degree or equivalent

Minimum of 3 years elderly care experience, which should be at management level

Excellent knowledge of the Nursing Home Industry due to previous roles

Have experience or qualification in Gerontology

Full understanding of the National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People

Has worked with or has a knowledge of caring for people with dementia

Proven leadership ability and strong people management

Package:

38 hour week - flexible

Day shifts - Monday to Friday

No weekends
