1 WTE full time Permanent position for CDNT -5 Rossecourt/ Lucan/ Adamstown

1WTE full-time Permanent position for CDNT – 6 Palmerstown

The Organisation:

Stewarts is the lead agency for the above newly established interdisciplinary CDNT teams, CDNT 5 and 6 in line with Progressing Children’s Disability Services.

Purpose of the Posts:

To provide a quality, evidence based and family centered physiotherapy service to children and young people (0 – 18 years) with complex needs within an interdisciplinary framework.

The service provides assessment and implementation of physiotherapy intervention and provision of essential equipment, postural management and orthotics as part of community disability network services within a family-centred model of care.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a new and dynamic team.

To be considered for this post applicants must demonstrate the following:

• BSc or equivalent recognised professional qualification in Physiotherapy approved by CORU
• The physiotherapist must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapy Register maintained by the Physiotherapy Registration Board at CORU
• Relevant ICT skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Planning and organisational skills and effective time management skills
• Evidence of participation in continued professional development in paediatrics
• Experience working in in the area of Disability Services would be an advantage
• Experience in postural management and orthotics is an advantage but not essential
• Experience in paediatrics in acute and or community services is desirable
• Having a full clean driving license and access to a car is desirable

Salary and qualifications are in accordance with HSE consolidated pay scales €37,522 - €54,569 inc LSI per annum
