Our client Nursing home is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Clinical Nurse Manager in their state-of-the-art Nursing home in Dublin

Rate of pay: from €24.00 p.h. to €26.00 p.h. dependent on years’ service.

The successful person will assume clinical responsibility for leading and managing a nursing team while taking responsibility for the standard and quality of nursing care in the designated area. An excellent understanding of geriatric nursing, comprehensive assessment skills and the ability to promote teamwork are key elements of this role.

Working hours of the Clinical Nurse Manager: this is a full-time permanent post working an average of 39 hours per week.

Day and Night duty will apply.

Requirements of the Clinical Nurse Manager:

Current registration as a Registered Nurse on the Register of Nurses kept by the Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland.

Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in Care of the Older Person, at least 2 of which must be at a senior level.

Have adequate knowledge of nursing administrative procedures.

Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.

Have completed, or be willing to complete a recognised management development and/ or post graduate professional development course.
