Head Hunt International is working with a large highly-respected hospital in Drogheda Ireland to recruit a Registrar Orthopaedics.

Grade: NCHD - Orthopaedics Registrar
Contract type: Full time/Fixed term
Contract length: 6 - 12 months
Remuneration: €57,987 - €68,285


We would like to invite Doctors with a strong interest and experience in General Surgery to apply for Registrar level positions in University and Public Hospitals around Ireland

The Registrar is responsible for providing frontline and hands-on care for a wide variety of patients within the Orthopaedic Department. Orthopaedics Registrar provides lifesaving medical care and is responsible for guiding and training Junior Doctors (SHO's). On-call duties are also required for Orthopaedic Registrars to take full responsibility and gain valuable experience in their speciality.

Ideal candidates will have completed one of the following;

Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCPS)
American Board of Surgery

Required:

- IMC registration or in the process of registering with IMC
- Relevant qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Irish or UK experience desirable
- Excellent English skills (IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 7.0 or OET certificate with an overall band score of B)
- IELTS (overall band score 7) or OET (Grade B: Apply points)
