Director of Nursing - Nursing Home Dublin


Head Hunt International is currently looking for a Director of Nursing to work in an excellent Nursing Home

Essential requirements:

*Registered General Nurse with An Bord Altranais, NMBI
*Have a minimum of three year's post registration management experience in a similar
setting
*Excellent patient care to a high standard
*Computer literate.
*Excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication
abilities.
*Ability to work on own initiative

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

*Provides direct care to assigned patients.
*Takes the nursing history, summarises data and states nursing diagnoses and patient
care needs.
* Observes and records signs, symptoms, and behaviors, including the physiological
status of patients; presents the assessment of changes, the proposed revision of
interventions, and desired outcomes.

Note: All nurses and midwives who practice in Ireland must by law be listed on the Register of Nurses and Midwives which is maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
