We work with hospitals and healthcare facilities in all 32 counties across Ireland, all of whom operate to the highest standards, fully up-to-date, and in code with government regulators. Responsibilities of these Healthcare assistants

Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to residents
Carry out assigned and delegated tasks involving direct care and activities under the direction and supervision of the Care Manager
Act as the named Healthcare Assistant for specific residents as allocated by the Care Manager
Respect the privacy and dignity of all residents and promote their independence.

Requirements for these Healthcare assistants

Must have at least 2 modules of FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent, must include Care Skills and Care of the Older Person
All successful candidates will be Garda Vetted
Must be able to provide 2 written references
Must have Infection Control and Hand Hygiene
Good written and oral English
Must have received all Hepatitis B vaccinations
SoVA or Elder Abuse certificate an advantage
Patient Manual Handling certificate an advantage
