Merco are working with an Integrated Urgent Care Service in London offering locum shifts (with immediate start) and flexible hours for GPs and Advanced Practitioners.

The organisation is a GP-led social enterprise providing several urgent care services within London including NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours. You will be working with a skill mix of clinicians including Nurses, Paramedics, ANPs, GPs, Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacists, providing a network of support and resource while carrying out locum work. 

As a GP in the urgent care environment, you will be responsible for providing triage and home visiting and you will manage cases as you normally would - identifying, planning and prioritising the ever-changing demands. You will be expected to build upon your personal development and enhance your clinical problem-solving skills and visiting housebound patients. You will be using the Adastra system template that the GPs currently use.

• You must be a qualified non-medical prescriber, with appropriately accredited clinical competencies to undertake face to face and telephone triage shifts within a Primary Care/Out of Hours setting.
• You will have previous experience of working in Integrated Urgent Care or experience of rapid response and/or primary care.
• You must demonstrate evidence-based autonomous practice, safe clinical decision making and patient centred care to the highest standards. You will also be required to work collaboratively within a supportive and dynamic multi-disciplinary team committed to meeting the needs of a wide and diverse patient population and delivery of the best possible clinical outcomes.
• Experience using Adastra
