Support Worker

Support Worker – Mainstream Residential

Contract: Full-time Permanent Position

Typical schedule: 10 sleepover shifts (15 hours + 9 hours sleepover) or 8–12-hour day shifts depending on service

Salary: €14.32 plus allowances

Location: Monsktown, Cork

Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 or 6 in applied Social Studies, Health, Youth and Community Work or similar
• Car and full Licence
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or young people in a social care setting or relevant
• Full Flexibility to work a residential roster including sleep in nights

To work as part of a care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people in our care.

To promote teamwork, carry out administrative duties as required and to perform key working roles when selected to do so / required.

To take part in the company’s Performance Development Plan through full

participation in the biannual assessment and appraisals.
