Support Pharmacist - Drogheda
QR Select is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Support Pharmacist to join an expanding pharmacy group in Drogheda. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. The pharmacy operates 7 days a week, and the role will involve a mixture of shifts, including weekends.
As a Support Pharmacist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the local community to foster customer loyalty.
  • Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Monitoring stock levels and maintaining effective communication with suppliers to ensure availability of required medications.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborating with the pharmacy owners to ensure the store operates efficiently and meets performance goals.
  • Performing other day-to-day duties as required to support the smooth running of the pharmacy.
You will be part of a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional patient care to the local community.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification.
  • Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong time management skills to handle a busy workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, colleagues, and suppliers.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Dispensing medications and providing expert advice to patients.
  • Managing stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked.
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all regulatory and operational standards.
  • Collaborating with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Assisting with the overall performance and smooth operation of the pharmacy.

Salary range
