Role Overview:
The Support Pharmacist will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and patient-focused pharmacy services while ensuring compliance with PSI guidelines and pharmacy legislation. The successful candidate will work alongside the pharmacy team to provide exceptional patient care and professional pharmaceutical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the dispensary operates in compliance with PSI guidelines, pharmacy legislation, and best practice standards
- Deliver a safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing service
- Provide professional services including vaccinations, health screenings, and patient counselling
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient care
- Ensure the safe and timely supply of medicines to patients and customers
- Build strong relationships with patients, GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Support monthly HSE reimbursement claims and submissions
- Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the pharmacy
- Maintain pharmacy documentation and follow standard operating procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Essential Requirements:
- Hold a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification
- Registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and customer service
Salary range
- €35 - €36 per hour
